Schools

Conquer The Woods are able to deliver Forest School sessions for Primary and Secondary Schools from KS1 to KS4. We can come and deliver sessions in the Bath, Bristol. South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire area either on your school site or using a woodland nearby if not available onsite. Afterschool sessions are also available.

The sessions are tailored to the needs and ability levels of the group and all sessions are learner led.  Session themes cover many areas of the National Curriculum up to KS4. (See Forest School & The National Curriculum)

Forest Schools involve games, arts and crafts, den building, challenges, foraging and making campfires. (we have our own portable fire pit to ensure no damage to your school grounds.)

Teamwork and individual skills are developed through games and activities such as shelter building, tool skills, lighting fires or environmental art. Each activity develops intra and inter-personal skills as well as practical and intellectual skills.

Thank you for the success you have made of Forest School at Little Stoke over the last year.

Headteacher, Little Stoke Primary School

I would like to take this opportunity to pass on my thanks for your help with our DT days. The children, without exception, enjoyed their ‘forest school’ experience. They loved making the bread, cooking the sausages and singing the songs.
